Opera Forward Festival

The Opera Forward Festival is an annual event organized by Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam. It focuses on innovation in opera, presenting bold, contemporary performances and multidisciplinary collaborations that challenge the boundaries of the art form. The festival brings together emerging talents and established artists to explore the future of opera.

During the Opera Forward Festival, we brought a unique visual experience to life. In the first two years, we created a custom video mapping projection, perfectly tailored to the façade of an iconic building, bringing the city to life in a completely new way. In the third year, we lit up the façade with a spectacular light installation, while moving Gobo projectors cast the festival logo across surrounding squares — creating a magical effect.
